The Bouncy Bounce

In this advanced salsa dance lesson video we show you an advanced combination that utilizes some of the previous basic beginner and intermediate salsa dance moves into a more complicated and properly timed bounce move. The idea while performing this move is took keep a constant smoothness to the movement even though there is a constant change in direction. Think of a smooth bouncing ball than sharp changes in direction when performing this on the dance floor.

Practice tip

Practice the move in sections and keep the connection controlled and precise. Once the setup and transitions feel obvious, the pattern becomes much easier to use socially.

Why this helps on the social floor

Save the full version for moments when the floor and the partnership can support it, and use the cleanest section first.
