Start with a compact version and pay attention to balance, posture, and preparation before you chase speed. Most turning problems get solved by cleaner setup, not extra force.

Why this helps on the social floor

On a social floor, cleaner turns matter more than bigger turns. Even one stable, well-timed spin will usually look better than two rushed ones.
