The Combo Starter Dance Move

Another episode we shot "at location", since we are currently are a low-budget podcast. We are doing this for all of you who really want to learn - and we love all our fans! We love teaching you what we know to hopefully get you started.

In this episode we review the open-break and work through it. It is a very important move if you need to gather some initial momentum for future combos. We also show you how to switch places using an open-break (very simple stuff), and then, a small little combo starter for the future combos that you might do from an open-break.

Practice tip

Practice the move in sections and keep the connection simple and readable. Once the setup and transitions feel obvious, the pattern becomes much easier to use socially.

Why this helps on the social floor

Start by using one reliable section of the lesson in social dancing, then expand it once it feels natural.
