Addicted2Salsa Relaunch: Better Salsa Video Lessons, Better Access, Better Quality

The Addicted2Salsa video site was relaunched with one goal: make salsa instruction easier to access and easier to use.

Salsa video podcast relaunch preview

If you learn through online salsa lessons, you know the pain points: low-quality playback, hard-to-find episodes, and no clean way to download practice material. This update focused directly on that.

What improved in the relaunch

  • Higher quality video playback, including older lessons.
  • Fullscreen-friendly viewing for step-by-step study.
  • Easier navigation to current and past episodes.
  • Direct video download access for offline practice.

For dancers without a local scene or with limited studio options, this matters a lot. Better access means more consistent training.

Why this update matters for learning speed

A solid online training workflow can reduce friction dramatically:

  1. Watch lesson once for concept.
  2. Rewatch in short loops for detail.
  3. Drill slowly with music.
  4. Return to the video to compare form.

When the site experience is smooth, dancers spend less time searching and more time improving.

What comes next

Two community-focused items were prioritized for follow-up:

  • comments/discussion on lesson pages,
  • move-specific question flow so dancers can ask about exact technical moments.

Those feedback loops are essential because salsa progress usually happens through small corrections, not giant breakthroughs.

Final note

This relaunch happened quietly while a lot of behind-the-scenes development work was underway. Huge thanks to everyone who kept the community running, answered questions, and stayed patient during the build period.

New lesson production for Fall 2008 was next on deck.
